The debut of the third-generation CLS 4-door coupe welcomes a groundbreaking electrified powertrain that combines a new 3.0L inline-six cylinder gasoline engine with the revolutionary EQ Boost integrated starter-generator and 48V electric system.
Mercedes-Benz continues to offer the widest selection of SUVs in the luxury category, with AMG performance models in all ranges. Enhancements to all SUV models further emphasize their appeal and luxury.
Beauty & Brains
The first Mercedes-Benz CLS captured the emotion of a coupe in four-door form, sparking an industry-wide trend. Sporty and sophisticated, the all-new third- generation CLS is the latest expression of the “sensual purity” Mercedes-Benz design language. The 2019 CLS model line includes the CLS 450, CLS 450 4MATIC and the AMG CLS 53.
The three-passenger rear seat is a first in the CLS and is designed to resemble the individual rear seats of previous CLS models. The 40:20:40 split rear seatbacks fold to expand trunk capacity. The 2019 CLS offers the brand’s cutting edge driver assistance systems, including the optional Driver Assistance Package using the most advanced Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive technology from the S-Class.
The Reinvention of an Icon
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class earned its “iconic” label following four decades of taming severe roads and off-road conditions. The 2019 redesign is the most comprehensive change to date, and improves all aspects of performance, handling, ride comfort, luxury and safety, while preserving its off-road prowess.
E-Class Family Receives New Engines & Improved Performance
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class remains the only vehicle in its segment to offer Sedan, Coupe, Cabriolet and Wagon body styles.
The 2019 model year also marks the debut of the new AMG E 53 Sedan, Coupe and Cabriolet models. All E 53 models feature the same powertrain as the CLS 53, which combines a new in- line six-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with the EQ Boost integrated starter-generator, 48V electric system and auxiliary supercharger. Also like the CLS 53, the E 53 models are equipped with the AMG 4MATIC+ fully variable All-Wheel Drive system and AMG Sport Suspension based on AIR BODY CONTROL.
Upgrades to the entire C-Class Family
Refreshed front and rear styling for all C-Class Sedan, Coupe and Cabriolet models includes standard LED headlamps, along with revised taillamps and front and rear fascias. The C 300 models debut a new 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo engine producing 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque for improved performance and responsiveness.
AMG GT for 2019
The AMG GT series grows for 2019 with the addition of the first-ever GT 4-Door Coupe.
The GT 4-Door Coupe, the third model developed independently by AMG, melds the front and rear design of the two-seat GT models with a 4-door, 4-seat body wearing a sweeping coupe roofline. As on the two-seat GT Coupe models, an elegantly integrated tailgate accesses the luggage compartment.
The GT 63 is powered by the same 577 hp, Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo as the AMG GT R sports car, while the GT 63 S is the most powerful model in the GT line with 630 hp from its Handcrafted 4.0L V8 biturbo engine. Both V8s are teamed with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT 9-speed MCT transmission. The GT 63 can accomplish 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds, and the GT 63 S in 3.1 seconds.
Added Safety
Mercedes-Benz continues to expand availability of its most advanced driver assistance technology to the 2019 C-Class family and the new CLS. The newest version merges sensor and navigation map data to enhanced capabilities, including Route-Based Speed Adaptation.
